More About Our Courses

The 11Plus Prep Course is designed to provide a self-learning, online experience for students who prefer distance learning and for those who are not able to attend face to face classroom sessions.

We currently provide video tutorials on Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning techniques to assist you in your preparation. We are currently working on the Maths and English videos, and we hope to bring this to you soon.

Other available resources include an extensive library of questions on each of the topics covered in maths, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and English. Students can master the topics alongside the relevant videos.

This 11Plus Prep Course is delivered by way of Tests which are timed. The test will be submitted at the end of the test or at the end of the set time, whichever is earlier, and the test will be instantly marked and graded.

The student independently completes the task using skills mastered previously.

Students start by completing a Diagnostic test to determine their comfortable starting point so that they are able to achieve 100% each time. This will boost their self-confidence. Each level is made up of many tests providing ample practice to ensure mastery before moving on to the next level.

The subjects are gradually introduced into the programme in small, gradual steps so students can easily understand the topics and techniques required to progress to more difficult materials as they move through the levels.

Important Features of the 11Plus Prep Programme

Students enrolling on the programme begin by taking a Diagnostic Test. The results of this test will determine the most suitable place for the student to begin studying. This easy starting point will ensure that students can begin to achieve 100% scores, achieve immediate success and begin to build self-confidence.

All students start this programme at a point which is easy. Starting at an easy starting point helps to establish a daily study habit, build confidence and establish firm foundations in the subject. As the work is easy for your child, you can try to challenge your child to try and complete the work as quickly as he/she can, whilst still achieving 100%.

11Plus Prep provides an individualised programme suitable for children of all ages and abilities. Children absorb knowledge at different rates and may also be keen to progress far in excess of their schoolwork. We recognise this fact and allow each student to work at his or her own pace.

Students are encouraged to do a little work each day, the time spent depends on the level of study. A bit of work each day reinforces the work done the previous day. Very young children work well if good daily study habits are set. These study habits will spill over into all school subjects and will stand students in good stead through to secondary school.

The programme contains a selection of Tests starting with the basic understanding of the topics and techniques required to progress in small steps so that students can progress smoothly. Students will also achieve a sense of satisfaction in their ability to learn independently which is a valuable life skill. This will also allow students to reach their full potential.

The objective of our programme is to provide students with sufficient materials to reinforce what they have learnt in school and be able to comfortably cope with maths and English at school. They will have a good grasp and understanding of the fundamentals of maths and English, enabling them to progress beyond their school level. Children will then feel happy and confident at school.
